Returns and Refunds:

  1. Damaged products: In case of damage caused to a Journal/Book/DVD during shipping, Company Law Institute of India Pvt. Ltd. will make arrangements to replace the damaged item. However, it is incumbent upon the customer to bring the damage to the notice of Company Law Institute of India Pvt. Ltd. and the replacement is dependent on the availability of the Journal/Book/DVD you have purchased and the nature of damage. So, please check the Journal/Book/DVD at the time of delivery and if unsatisfied make a complaint to the delivery person. Also inform Company Law Institute of India Pvt. Ltd. Customer Service immediately so that necessary action may be taken.
  2. Complaint period: Customers seeking replacement/return of a Journal/Book/DVD must inform Company Law Institute of India Pvt. Ltd. within seven days. Complaints received after that time will not be considered.
  3. Refunds: Company Company Law Institute of India Pvt. Ltd. Institute of India will refund full payment if the customer has paid for Journal/Book/DVD that are listed on the website but which are out of stock. In these cases, the Customer Service Team will send an e-mail to the customer and on obtaining his consent initiate the refund process.
  4. The Return amount will not carry any interest.
  5. There may be situations where a customer has ordered several Journal/Book/DVD and one or more of those products are not in stock. In such cases, the customer will be refunded the cost of products not available.
  6. Refunds on orders made through the payment gateway for all Journal/Book/DVD through Credit/Debit cards will be routed back through the customer’s Credit Card Company and will be credited to the customer’s account.
  7. Refunds of payments made through Demand Draft/Crossed Cheque are made through at par cheques. These shall be sent to you through couriers with whom Company Law Institute of India Pvt. Ltd. has an arrangement.

Cancellation Policy:

Company Law Institute of India Pvt. Ltd. believes in helping its customers as far as possible and has therefore a liberal cancellation policy. Under this policy:

  1. Cancellations will be considered only if the request is made within 24 hours of placing an order. However, the cancellation request will not be entertained if we have initiated the process of shipping them.
  2. No cancellations are entertained for those products that the Company Law Institute of India Pvt. Ltd. marketing team has obtained on special festive occasions. These are limited occasion offers and therefore cancellations are not possible.
  3. Refund/Replacement can be made if the customer establishes that the received Journal/Book/DVD is damaged.
  4. In case you feel that the Journal/Book/DVD received is not the one selected on the site, you must bring it to the notice of our Customer Service within 24 hours of receiving the Journal/Book/DVD. The Customer Service Team after looking into your complaint will take an appropriate decision.

Shipping Policy:

  1. Domestic orders (within India) would be processed within 2 working days and shipped through a domestic courier company or postal service.
  2. Most orders are delivered within 10 days from the date of invoice. However, there may be delay in delivering to remote areas/villages and other towns as delivery is purely vested with courier/postal service/cargo handler.
  3. If you wish to purchase multiple items and ship them to two or more different addresses, please place them as different orders.
  4. Once the Journal/Book/DVD is shipped from our location, we will send you the shipper’s reference number (airway bill number/docket number) on your request through email.
  5. We are not responsible for any delay caused by any unforeseen time lags by the courier/postal service/cargo handler in delivering the goods to the customer or if the customer is not available at the time of delivery.
  6. Company Law Institute of India Pvt. Ltd. and its affiliates are committed to deliver the goods to you in time and in good condition. However, Company Law Institute of India Pvt. Ltd. and its affiliates have limited liability in case of any loss of goods during transit.
  7. We reserve the right to release information to local, state, central or international law enforcement officials when we believe in good faith that the law requires it, or when required to, by order of a Court or authorized administrative agency.
  8. Octroi or entry tax if any should be borne by the customer.
