A WELCOME BUDGET
In section 156 of the Customs Act, in sub-section (2), in clause (h), for the words ‘‘for compounding’’, the words ‘‘for compounding and the manner of compounding’’ shall be substituted.
Clause 89 of the Bill seeks to amend section 156 of the Customs Act with a view to empower the Central Goverment to make rules regarding the manner of compounding.
