On the basis of the final findings of the Director General (Safeguard), the safeguard duty on Caustic Soda lye, falling under tariff item 2815 12 00 of the First Schedule to the Customs Tariff Act, 1975 (57 of 1975), when imported into India, at the rate of fifteen per cent. ad valorem.	4th December, 2009 to 3rd March, 2010 (both days inclusive).
